Home Market · Business At My AddressThis Privacy Policy explains how 34M4 Home Market (“34M4”, a trade name of Myanmar Gazette Inc., a California corporation in Reseda, California — “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information on 34m4.com and the shops hosted on it, and the rights you have, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
1. Information we collect
- Account and contact details: name, email, phone number, and (for Sellers) shop name and shop address on 34m4.com. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from them.
- Order details: items ordered, prices, pickup choice, order notes (which may include a date, time or address for a service), and order history in that shop.
- Payment details: card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive only limited payment information (for example payment status, the last four digits and card brand); we never receive full card numbers. Sellers give their identity and bank details directly to Stripe, not to us.
- Reviews you post.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and server logs, used for security and to keep the service working. For Sellers who turn on order alerts, a notification address for their phone.
- Cookies: needed for login, your shopping cart, and remembering your language (English or Burmese). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use it
- To run the shops, process orders and payments, and send order emails and alerts.
- To let Sellers fulfill your order and contact you about it.
- To prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to keep the Platform secure.
- To meet legal obligations (for example tax and permit rules).
- To improve the Platform. We may send Sellers service announcements.
3. Who we share it with
- The Seller you buy from receives your name, contact details and order so they can fulfill it. Each Seller is responsible for how they use that information.
- Stripe, to process card payments (see stripe.com/privacy).
- Service providers that help us run the Platform (hosting, email, phone notifications), only as needed.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect people’s safety.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by California law.
4. How long we keep it
We keep information while your account is active and as long as needed for orders, accounting, tax and legal obligations (generally up to 7 years for order records), then delete or anonymize it.
5. Your California privacy rights
If you live in California you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and get a copy of it;
- Delete your personal information (with some legal exceptions);
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it);
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use it beyond what is needed to provide the service);
- Not be discriminated against for using these rights.
To make a request, email info@34m4.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will confirm your identity (usually by replying from the email on your account) and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.
6. Security
We use HTTPS encryption everywhere, restricted server access and other reasonable safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
7. Children
The Platform is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. You must be 18 or older to open a shop or place an order.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date.
